    Abstract
    Gegenstand dieser Arbeit ist das Pressearchiv kleinerer Lokalzeitungen. Einleitend werden Schwerpunkte der Lokalpresseforschung dargestellt. Anhand einer Befragung von Lokalredaktionen (bis zu 20.000 verkaufte Auflage) werden einzelne Archivformen erläutert. Aufgrund dieser Darstellungen erfolgt eine Aufstellung allgemeiner Anforderungskriterien an ein Lokalpressearchiv. Die elektronische Archivierung wird als bestmögliche Archivform herausgestellt. Am Beispiel der Cuxhavener Nachrichten werden verschiedene Ansätze einer Archivreorganisation aufgeführt
